Seating
In general, unless the site layout dictates otherwise, always try to include seating within the play area. Not at the periphery but within the play space. This allows carers who need to be near children for whatever reason to do so without seeming to be different. If all carers and parents are within the play space it makes it more inclusive, they can get involved in the play experience and less obvious if, for example, a carer has to assist a child. Again, the key is not making someone feel different or stand out.
